We want to help keep Britain glowing in the safest possible way for you and your loved ones, which is why we have introduced our homeSAFE program to Glow-worm installers. HomeSAFE aims to support installers with the necessary tools, training and equipment they need to work safely in your home.
You can now ensure your loved ones safety whilst keeping your home cosy knowing that a homeSAFE qualified installer has attended our training course, has the correct PPE equipment and has been advised on best practice before entering your home, according to the UK Health & Safety legislation.
By choosing a homeSAFE qualified installer to work in your home, on your boiler, you can be assured that:
- Your installer has been given all the necessary tools and equipment to work to the highest health and safety standards whilst in your home.
- They have had compulsory training in line with the UK Government’s Health & Safety Legislation.
- They will be able to guide you through safe working practices whilst they work in your home and provide you with assets on how to prepare for their visit.
- They have been trained by Glow-worm on how to best reduce risk both to yourself and your loved ones.
How do I find a homeSAFE accredited installer?
You can locate a homeSAFE qualified installer on our ‘Find an Installer’ page on our website, by looking for the homeSAFE logo next to their name. If you’re still unsure, when booking your appointment ask your installer if they are homeSAFE qualified.
As part of our homeSAFE program we have also provided installers with assets to help you feel comfortable in the preparation for their visit, like this short, informative video.
